Crowders Nurseries makes promotions and wins new business

Crowders make the news in Horticulture Week:

James Carter has been promoted to Commercial Director with Jenny Hall stepping up to Head of Sales and Estimating.

Jason Todd is now Head of Operations and James Hunter is Head of Production.

Crowders continue to win new business from major infrastructure projects on advance procurement contracts to add to their success with HS2 Phases 1 and 2A (over seven million trees). Recent wins include another phase from East West Rail for 250,000 trees for 2022/4 and a new contract with Hinkley Point C to grow 12,500 root-balled trees and 125,000 transplants to be planted in the Southern Area of the site once construction is complete. Crowders chairman Robert Crowder said: “The new contract will ensure UK provenance and means the project can get the quantity and quality of stock they need.”
