As a 7th generation family owned business, we aim to be the best horticultural specialists in our field, providing market leading solutions for our customers; not only in plants, but also in goods and associated services.

Crowders Nurseries are a nationally renowned wholesale grower – from high end private domestic schemes to large national infrastructure programmes, we supply the full range of high quality plant material to create outstanding landscapes.

Having grown plants for over two hundred years, Crowders have accumulated all the equipment and expertise we require to produce the best possible plants at the best prices. We currently have 3 sites around Horncastle and nearby Woodhall Spa in Lincolnshire, totalling 140 Hectares of land. We propagate many of the plants grown on our nursery which helps to ensure consistent quality, and have specialised staff to achieve this.

Our production adheres to the HTA national plant specification, which enables our customers to purchase in confidence knowing the plants they order will match their specific requirements. We also have the systems in place to see the full traceability and history of our stock, which is particularly beneficial for projects requiring planting material with a specific provenance.

We are a proud member of the British Association of Landscape Industries, and work closely with them to strive for the utmost professionalism. We also frequently attend BALI events and forums, ensuring we’re fully up to date with the latest trends in our customers’ industry.

To highlight our commitment to quality management and continual improvement, we have gained ISO 9001 certification, meaning our customers can always rest assured that they will receive the best level of service, as well as high quality planting material.

In addition to this, we are also working towards achieving ISO 14001 to demonstrate our focus on environmental management and protection.
