April has seen great expansion for our internal team, specifically within operations and sales. This month we have had three new members join our office team in Horncastle – Simon, Paul, and Brad.
Simon is our new Operations Director joining us with a wealth of knowledge and experience within the horticultural industry – accumulated through his previous roles in Operations, Project and Factory Management and his time in Consultancy. Furthermore, Simon has a Master’s degree in Business Administration, providing impressive academic credibility to support his hands-on plant experience. Simon will be our first Operations Director at Crowders, a role that is evidence of our company success and rapid growth. Simon will oversee all three nurseries and their workings.
Paul is our new Head of Production bringing with him 25 years’ worth of experience. He began his career within the horticulture industry as a nursery foreman, he then progressed to Nursery Manager at an instant hedge growing company for 16 years.
Paul offers our nursery teams vast plant-based knowledge and business experience that will enable further development and growth across our three nursery sites. He expresses his enjoyment of working within a team that share his passion for the horticulture industry.
Brad has joined our experienced sales team as a new Account Manager, he will be working alongside Gavin and Connor ensuring our customers receive the best estimating service for their horticultural needs.
Brad joins Crowders with a variety of valuable working experience, though this is his first role within horticulture, his keen interest in the growth and development of native stock stands him in good stead for a prosperous career at Crowders.
